hello, thanksgiving.

We wanted to share a taste of our Thanksgiving which included family, laughs and of course pie.  xoxo enjoy.

hello, vodka cream sauce.

In a large pot, cook butter and shallots at a medium heat for 3 minutes. Add minced garlic (the more the better), the red pepper and 2 teaspoons of salt to the simmering pot of deliciousness.  Warning: Your house is guaranteed to smell amazing!
In a bowl, squish tomatoes with hands (it will be fun, promise!) and drain some of the liquid.
Add the tomatoes to the pan with your vodka (we didn’t have vodka one time, and it still came out great). Let the sauce cook for 20 minutes without a top (or more! The longer it cooks the better it tastes!). After your sauce cooks to your liking, add a cup of parmesan cheese and your little container of heavy cream.
Stir, and throw in the fresh basil, pepper (to taste) and salt… now go get your straw (we have pictures to prove this has been done).
For pasta, we chose to make homemade ravioli with a sun-dried tomato and goat cheese filling. We suggest you buy your favorite pasta if you don’t have a pasta roller. If you’re lucky enough to live near a Trader Joe’s they have an amazing sun-dried tomato ravioli!
Toast your baguettes, throw your favorite pasta on a dish and soak with too much sauce!  Yummm!

enjoy. xoxo

A few months ago the three of us sisters came together to discuss a common goal. A tribute to our wonderful grandmother, Mimi, the life of the party. It seemed so perfect that all of us in a way share a part of Mimi’s passions: a cook, a photographer and a stylist.  Here’s to the start of hello, scrumptious. A collaboration of art in it’s truest forms.
